Box Volume???

i have build one box for my audiobahn sub and it will have about 1.3 cubic feet of space inside, the box is 16x15x15. The manufactor said 1-2 cubic feet of space, will my sub still hit hard even tho it was a little smaller then i wanted it????

my box is like 1.5 without displacement, and like 1.3 with displacement

the manufactor says 1 to 2 cubic feet

is this box going hit hard

the reason iam building a box is b/c i have a prefab bandpass and i would like more sq

if they say 1-2 cubes and you're at 1.3 after displacement, then it will work fine. if you want "more" volume, throw in some polyfill and it'll make the box seem "bigger".

yes. bandpass boxes are shit and only good at certain frequencies and if not built right can sound like ***.

no one likes to use them

building your own sealed box, you will get better sq, and tighter bass and be able to get the lows as well.
