box volume? memphis power reference 12s

Okay, my friend wants me to build him a ported enclosure for his 2 Memphis power reference 12" subs. they are a few years old, but I believe the specs are the same as the new Power Reference series, only the basket has changed.

Anyhow, I can't find a full list of specs on these woofers anywhere, so I have no idea what the recommended enclosure volume or tuning is, nor can i find information on the displacement of the woofer itself.

I was thinking just go the safe route and go for about 2.5 cubes tuned to about 30hz or so.

any other recommendations? anyone have any more info on these subs?

have you checkd the memphis site? have all the specs for all the old stuff too.

nevermind, i found a pdf file with enclosure designs and stuff. i think i am going to just make it sealed, the ported boxes they suggest are huge and tuned really high
