BOx tunning help

i have a 2.4 cubic ft box with 1 4" port that is 8" long which comes out to 40hz. I was told that if i add another 4" port it would be better, and louder. I was wondering how long would 2 4" port would have to be for it to be tuned to 35hz?

flared port or straight port?

flared ports 21.11" long 35hz

straight ports 20.11" long 35hz
