I have a box tuned at 33hz... Does that mean that that is the lowest note it will hit?

B/c my subs seem to be missing some of the lower notes..

I dont think there's anything all that low in the song...

I think you're missing mid bass, not bass/sub bass...

what front speakers do you have? and what frequency are they crossed to the sub at?

Nvm then... Comp speakers don't pick up any of the lows... lol..

I'm not exactly sure... But I know there is a big bass note near the beginning, and I think it misses most of that one...

Ahh.. Maybe you are right... Right now I have some old Infinity Reference speakers.. I have the amp set on "high-pass" and like 600hz max (high as the amp lets me)

The subs are at 50hz max. freq.

lol, ah, who needs mids anyway!!!

set the sub to around 100Hz - 200Hz low pass, and the fronts as low as they'll happily go... lol but the idea is to kinda have the front, and sub set at the same frequency (but one high pass, one low pass)

your settings are the problem, set the subwoofer lowpass to like 80Hz and the highpass to like 80-100Hz and you should hear every note the song has to offer

Indeed, you have to match your settings so that the mids aren't set to play 80 hz and up and the sub plays 50 hz and below. Then you will miss something.
