Box Tuning

Can someone tell me what to tune my box to in relationship to the resonant freq. of my car.

so if my rf is say 60 hz. then tune to 50?

try 52Hz

my res. freq is 51hz, we usually need to tune around 40ish to peak at 51. Robert Kollar who competes in prostock USACi is tuned to something like 59 or 60 hz and burps at 63hz if i heard/remember what he said correctly. you will probably end up having to try many different freqs

well this weekend i am going to figure out the resonant freq. of my car and when i do that i want to know what freq. to tune my box in relationship to that freq.

start ~10hz below. cut off 1" each time and meter it, if you gain, cut again, once you stop gaining, dont cut anymore lol. with a regular slot port it might be hard to cut 1" off though.
