Box tuning sugustions...

Need thoughts on what type of tuning would work well with an RE *** 12 in a 92' accord. RE says 2.0@33 is optimal. Would 2.0@ 34 be much of a difference? (that box plan is right on this site, cant find one for 33hz.) I dont want a peaky spl output, looking for a good blend of output and SQL. Thanks-Rich

You probably arent going to notice a difference between 33 and 34hz.

do u already have the re? if not get DC for sql.

but i would tune it at 30 but thats just me and my .02

If you don't want peaky output then tune lower. The higher you go the larger the peak your going to get. My advice to you would be to download WinISD, input the T/S specs of your woofer and play with the enclosure design to get the rolloff curve your looking for.
