box tuning Help

If you need more info just ask, but I am having a problem that needs fixed asap.

height: 13.5 width: 44 depth: 26 = 7.231 internal volume before displacement

I am looking to tune it at 40hz

I used winisd, and other programs and they all say 4inches wide by 24 inches in height will make it 40hz, but thats just a 4x24inch cut out, no length in port nothing?

4x12 says 3.51 length?

It just doesnt sound right to me?

alot of views and no help...I know it sounds dumb and perhaps has an easy fix, but I dont know it...

I am not sure but I think 4 inches is the diameter of a round port. So you need 24 inches length of 4 inch ports.

naw I put in slot port, an it says 4 inches wide by 24 inches height would be 0 inches length and that doesnt sound right at all to me.
