box tuned for 20-25hz for 10" subwoofer ported or sealed

hey i am trying to grasp the concept of calculations for a box and whats the best tunning. right now i am llooking to build a driver with a low fs somewhere in the low 20s. I wanna go for a low tune going for sq to just destroy lows. I dont want my sub to sound like crap i was wondering if someone can help me out on if its a good idea for a 25hz tune or lower. this is for my trunk dont want a huge box but want to hit lows extremely clean. also want excursion which i know sealed = more excursion. is ported only better for output or if tuned low will it make the lows sound better? Would it be better to go for a larger sized sealed box to hit lows? pls help me out
