Box Too Big? How Can I Change It?

Alright... I used MoeLesters plan for the 2.95 Cubes Box... And I dropped my Sub in a minute ago, and you can just tell it'as way too big... Is there anyway I can change the size without building a whole nother box? Take it down to maybe 2.2 after displacement...

It will require a lot of work, because as you change the net volume, the tuning changes.

you didnt say what sub.

just under 3cf sounds good for a 12 ported, but int he diagramit sas the cut out is 14inches, maybe its a 15?

if its a 15 leave it alone, even for a 12 i would leave it, especially ported

how is it to big? you got plans for a box that size then build it and its the size its supposed to be? do you mean the box itself is to big for your trunk?

No... The box is too big for the sub... I figured it'd sound good, but it just sounds like crap...

ybe yuo tuned it wrong or something, thats not too big for an l7

Yeah, check your HU settings and your amp settings. Play around with it. That box should be on the money for a 12L7.

Played with everything, turned it every which way... I have 2 of them... And no matter what I do, it just sounds like crap... My old box sounded better...

Wait, 2 12" L7's in a 2.95ft^3 box or just 1 12"? If its one, your money, and somethin else is wrong. If you've got 2 in there, its wayy to small.
