Box sealant question...

Ok...so I know this question has been beaten to death, but I've got an entire tube of this stuff...will it work just as well as the silicone sealant that most of you use, or should I just get some silicone?

It will work fine, I've used a similar product for years and never had a problem with it.

I actually have always liked using glues more than silicones for all my boxes.
