Box Resonation

Ok so when you build a subwoofer box you dont want it to resonate right? like flex and stuff

thats why you put braces and reinforcements. i've heard when you resin the walls of your box inside it raises the resonant frequency...is that good or bad? where do you want the resonate frequency at? and if the purpose is to stop your walls from resonating, wouldnt putting some dynamat or similar product on the walls OUTSIDE help some?

for every car is different. you need to know the resonant frequency of your car(search to learn how to do it) once you have the resonant frequency then you tune your box accordingly (some say 3hz below your rf some say 1 some say 10 im not sure the actual) resin can either help or hurt your box by up to 1.5dB
