Box recommendation?

Right now I'm running a 10" Type R being powered by a Ed Nine.2X

What would you recommend for a box as far as size and ported vs. sealed.

I listen to EVERYTHING. Mainly Rock and Rap though. 50/50 on SPL vs. SQ

I'm running a 1 cuft. sealed box now and I am not impressed. By output or SQ. I should expect much as far as output from this though right? The sound of not impressive either. I'm more unhappy with the SQ than anything.

Maybe I should go to a 1.2 cuft?

I'm am also not knowledgeable enough to really set the amp setting either. Any suggestions? When I tried to set the gains, I never could hear it "clipping".

Shit, take it to 2.0cf @ 32-34hz and it will sound good and pound. Thats in a ported box. If you still want to go sealed you can try a 1.5cf box but im not positive on that.
