Box Question

I made a box yesterday. Ill post pics up later but does a quarter inch on the box plans make a difference? like on these plans, http://img23.imageshack.us/my.php?image=275cubes30hz39sqin0gn.png . The guy at lows or h/e u spell it cut it .25 short i nthe depth and then the port when we made it is like 3.25 wide?

Took us 10 hours strait me and 2 other friends ill post pics up soon. First box ever built and we bought some cloth at wallmart and put that on i couldnt find any carpet for a box but w/e its cool.

its going to make a difference because you altered the box size. if you made on side 1/4" longer you would just have a slightly bigger box, but if you did something with your port it could mess up your tuning.

how much do you think a quarter of a inch would make a difference, like on the port or the tuning? like hz difference? instead of 32
