Ok here's one for you guys, and it's something I didn't even think about until my boxes were all done BUT...here is an attached image of what my boxes look like under the back seats of my truck. They aren't installed yet, but will be soon. The reason they are that shape is because the Avalanche has a steel tube that pretty much cuts into an area where the box would extend, so I designed for part of the box, the back "tail" you see there to go underneath said tube. Will that particular space greatly effect the sound of the box if its sealed? Its something I didn't even think about until I was done carpeting, but now it has me all paranoid. I read that it's simply about space, and I wanted to maximize the space under the seats as much as possible so I added that extra area. Can any sound guru's lay in some knowledge about if this will affect the sound or not, or am I just worrying too much?
