my next build is like.... 5.2 cubes for sanmarcoszfreak. meeting him half way when a show hits ft. walton beach. just needs to get his money right so we can start on it. cabinet shops will be visited in and out of town to find the best prices for the best quality. im hoping to find one that will agree on 25 a sheet for cuts, as long as no angles are involved, and maybe like 2 dollars for every angle cut. so i can have a set price on boxes that i build and ship. may be almost shop prices but it will be far superior to shop quality.

im guessing this was a compliment and thats how ill take it either way lmfao. i like these clamps a lot as they have a latch u kinda release and get to the wood, then twist the handle to apply the heavy pressure. very easy to use!

That stuff is at low prices, but it's all made in china. There's one near me, and their prices are low. I hate to buy stuff from china, but the prices are too tempting.

Yea HF stuff is cheap. I have several tools around here from HF. But for my piddling around in the garage, they work out OK. Just kinda depends on what your wanting/needing. My dad bought a Disk/belt bench sander from there and it aint worth a $hit. But my air compressor, grinder, right angle grinder, various small hand tools, work ok for me. Just gotta watch what you get. The motors on the bigger tools are weak.

I'd still buy the tools from that place since they are at a good deal. Maybe I have a different view on things, my hometown 8-10 years ago we had a lot of factories. But when one company went to china, it seemed that the others followed along and it's kinda depressing when you see so many people in one town loose their jobs. I wouldn't judge too much on the countries origin if I'm getting a really good deal, but it's something to think about if they were made here instead of another country. In my next project I start, I'm definitely going to check out HF.
