box problem

long story short, box built 2cubes tuned to 35hz for 2 10s... mounting depth of 1 sub further than inside port length, so the port length needs to be cut inorder for sub to fit

question how is cutting a half moon in port length to fit magnet is going to change freq... cutting small piece off port length doesn't affect frequency too much correct? or does a circular cut in port length a no go?

Definitely a no-go. The sub will be too close to the port opening anyways.
