box position

Hey guys, I have a 3.0 cf ported box that has two 4 inch ports in the front.. My question is, where should I position the box in the trunk. I have an 06 Mustang GT. One person said I sould put the ports towards the back of the trunk so that the bass will bounce off the walls and another person said that I should put the ports towards the back seat... I'm not sure now what I should do... what do you all think.. oh to obtain the loudest sound possible in the cabin.. Thanks

Unless you sealed off the trunk, I would do sub and port back.
