Box Port Direction

What's up guys. Gonna be building a box for a hdc 3 12 in a 2013 civic. Just have a question regarding port orientation, should I fire sub/port back or sub back port to side? Not going for numbers or anything just a daily woofer. I've always done both back, what would you guys do?

I've done both but for much different applications. They both sounded good but I would stick with what you know

yeah if both back sounds good i'd keep it.. only way i would change it is if u have friend with side port box u can try before u build or buy side port box.. sometimes sounds ok sometimes doesn't work at all depends on car so gotta test 1st.. mine (3cars) always sounds better firing rear..

May have to try different positions to hear what sounds best to ya.
