I want to build a really efficient ported enclosure for my 10in MTX 5500, i've heard snailshell enclosures are efficient and loud, but they take up too much space, I want to keep some of my trunk space. The woofer is going to get about 150wrms, I was looking at a few TCAB enclosures and noticed they use huge 6" ports, what do you guys think? Im kind of leaning towards the ports because it looks easier to build and takes up less space than a snailshell or normal slot port enclosure. Thanks in advance for the feedback. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

with a box for a single 10", i would think you could use smaller diameter ports than 6" in the TCAB box...not that familiar with them.

if you want round port go with a precision port. a singe 4" for a 10" would probably do nicely.
