My friends got 2 10" kicker compvr's in the kicker premade ported box. I don't think it sounds too well. And i told him we should build him a new box. Any one got any ideas on a box plan that would help these subs sound good. He wouldn't have them if he let me choose his subs but its what he has so we have to deal with it. I got 3.18 cubic ft after wood displacement

Maybe he should try n sell the 10's and try to get a 12" Q

Thats what i wanted him to get. One nice 12" but he made his decision before i got to him. And desired tuning prolly around 32 - 34 hz....whatever would work good with these woofers. And would he need more room cuz we can prolly fit more on the depth and width. The height just needs to stay low like 12". But other than that it should be fine. So if you can come up with a good design by those guidelines i would be grateful.

Just took a look at kickers site....shoulda done that in the first place. It says 1.75 cubic feet for the 10" so i was thinking maybe 12x20x30 and that gives about 4.17 cubic feet and then after speaker and port displacement that should be enough don't ya think? I need some help with tuning of the port. What do you guys think would be a good frequency to tune this subs at?

I did a box for 2 12's a few months back. 3.5^3 @32Hz. Was the biggest we could fit through the rear seat opening and Kicker's smallest recommended box for 12's.

Gets very loud, but SQ isn't the greatest...
