ok heres the situation I have a 02 grand prix I dont have fold down seats but I have a lilttle passage way that folds down where the back arm rest console is like where you put cups and stuff. It's in the middle of the trunk now I have 2 subs and I was thinking of makeing 2 seperate sealed boxes on each side of this little passage way so the fold down part would be open of anything blocking it. So the question is do you think the 2 seperate boxes is a good idea or should I do the traditional 1 box all the way across to gain the greatest db.

Greatest db huh... Port it , first off, then turn the box everywhich way you wantin your trunk.. What ever you think is the loudest leave it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

^^^ yes sir its just a box thats hardly goin be used just want to seal for nice sq I already have an 06 15" l7 for loudness thats y i didnt need to port them .

every car is different .. In my car (02 diamante, leather , ski hole only) it was loudest while pushed all the way to the back of the trunk while firing forward... CRX boxes work well to, (sub up , port back , i believe) do testing, but since u have sealed it should be a lil easier
