Long time no post, having dropped out of the car audio scene i have come back to ask a few questions.

I recently acquired a Toyota Estima. The rear seats have been removed and stored so i only have the front and middle seats (seats total of 4 now instead of 8).

I will be reusing my Power Acoustik Set-up (MOFO 15, speakers, amps, cap, etc.) from the now deceased Volvo and the sub will be in a sealed enclosure. Where would be the best place to mount/strap the box.

Looking for QS not SPL, i've had my fun in the volvo and SPL is not what i am aiming for anymore.

facing up? down? towards the rear? front?

Well, facing the speaker towards the rear is going to be louder, that's a definite, but you'll also have more rattle.

The best way to judge is to get it setup and alter the position of the box until you find what YOU PERSONALLY enjoy the best, sir. We all have different likings. Facing it up or towards the front might sound better to you. Granted, it wont be as loud(or shouldn't be) but it will help to avoid the rattles a bit.
