Box placement for a 97 civic

Alright, so I am going to hook my 12 inch Type R and hifonics 1205 up for a few weeks until I get my money for my 2 12s/15s hd3 and wait untill the aq3500 watts are released...anyways, I was wondering how this single twelve would perfom just laying in the backseat car is a 4 door civic.

I had this same install in the trunk of my 96 Buick Riviera, sounded great but I was wondering if I could possibly get it louder being in the cabin.

And should I do sub firing forward with the ports up?

Box displacement will be the same of my last install, 3.5 cu ft tuned to 32.

it will sound like crap and won't load correctly. put it in the trunk with the sub firing forward and the port to the passenger side.
