box painting

I have an air compressor and the painting attachment and all that but have never painted a box. If were to paint MDF do I use a primer etc and where do I get the paint that is high gloss like you might see on a car etc.

i just used spray paint and went through 3+ cans so beware that mdf really loves paint. as for paint like a car go to any auto store that sells or mixes paint.

You can use a primer, unless you want to use about 4-5 cans of paint. As far as the gloss use clear coat.
