box materials?

ok i am thinking about building a box and cant decide whether it would be cheaper to build one or buy on and need to know where would be a good place to get some 3/4 MDF and how much a sheet of that would cost and also how much a couple of yards of carpet would be, thanks.

MDF at Home Depot/Lowes around $20 or so a sheet I believe (I dont know, I dont use it) and carpet from partsexpress.com

sealed prefabs are ok as long as they fit your car and size needs, but port is usually optimum and i don't know bout HD, but lowes is willing to cut the board down for ya, 2 cuts free, 25 cents for addl cuts...

its not hard to build a box...and partsexpress is the place to get carpet..but buy a bunch of stuff you want from all at once so you can save on shipping.
