Box for RE SE

So I am running an '04 model SE in a 2ft^3 box tuned to 32Hz. I personally do not care for the sound. It gets nice and low and pretty much stays there. Anything about like 45Hz or so does not sound to good at all. Basically it peaks and has a very steep dropoff. Well I have another one sitting in my room so I think I am going to sell it as a package deal with a box I build. I was thinking of going 1.75ft^3 at 36Hz. Any suggestions on a box to make the SE play a little higher and not just play lows.

Also how much should I charge for the sub/box combo? I was thinking $350 since I do not have any of the original packaging or literature.

i have 2 SE12s (only using 1 at the moment) and ive noticed the same thing. i was also wondering about tuning the box higher

Any suggestions on a box to make 2 SEs play a little higher and not just play lows.

4ish cubes at ? tuning?

dont forget guys that the vehical that the sub is in can also hinder upper end bass. some vehicals like my truck have a sweet spot of 55Hz, but also have dead spots down low, so i tune down low. that being said

2 12" SEs i would tune 36-38 and go with 3.5 cubes for the pair!

thanks, i will keep that in mind when i get around to building my box

so are you selling BOTH subs in a box, or selling on in your first box and starting over with the other sub and another box??
My bad for the confusion. I am selling just one sub. I am keeping the other in my car.

Sealed my se15's do great on the upper end and still have plenty of low end //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
