i have no idea, i am new into car audio. just ordered two tidal audio 12inch subs.

i have no idea if i should get a port or sealed enclosures. also, anyone know any builders in LOS ANGELES area? ? ?

Modeling them up in winISD, and both kinda of boxes work fairly well, although on the larger side. I got 3.5-4ft^3 for a sealed box for both, or 6ft^3 tuned to 28hz for the pair. That's going a little smaller than winISD recommends, but still trying to keep a reasonable response curve.

thanks. ram., but...winISD? i don't know what that is. I guess, first thing is have someone deisgn a box, and take it to the local builder? do you recommend getting a custom design or use a generic design ? i am personally am open to paid design if it will produce a better sound.

winISD is an enclosure calculating program. You enter the sub's t/s parameters and it'll give you a response curve for the given box that you want.
