Box for Kenwwod 10

I know Kenwood isnt the best, but i would like to build a vented box for one ten, The max i can go is 1.78 cubes (total box volume) what should i tune the box to for a ten at this volume, for maximum spl. thanks.

for maximum SPL you'll tune it to your RF of ur car, most likely in the range of 40-50 hz. For maximum SPL for regular music playing, I'de say tune it 35 hz, that should sound nice.

OK thanks, does it matter on how big to make the box? I know they say bigger the better but can you go too big? And also i posted another thread about WINISD that noone has gotten to yet, but when you are trying to figure vent length do you type in how many cubes the sub needs after port dissplacement or do you type in total box volume? I hope that made sense if not, sorry ask me more info if needed thanks.
