Whats that, like 12" of port area?

Nice box, but bad design.

Looks like 2 4"s which would be ~25in^2; probably enough....

Actually it is about 24 inches or two 4 inch pvc ports flared with a router tuned very low, it has very little port noise. Huge port area does not offer that much of an advantage in a box tuned low 26-30hz for a daily driver.....SPL box tuned to 45hz with 5000 watts then yes more port area helps.
