box for AW1206T subs

does anyone have a ported box design for 2 Audioban AW1206T Subs??

right now the subs are in a sealed box, facing the back or my car... id like for the subs to stay facing the back, but id like the ports to face the front. or does that even make a difference?? if not then both facing same direction would be fine... these subs also have a badass crome flame basket, i wouldnt mind a box that has them mounted backwards to show em off...

you'd need around 6-6.5 cubes @ 36 Hz for the ultimate SPL box that audiobahn recommends.

inverting them will only add to your box size because the sub then has no displacement in your box. george has a great tutorial on how to design a ported box and it works really well. check it out.

6 cubes total...... but that's net not gross so that's after sub port and wood displacement. Make sure your careful with the power too they seem to be a little overrated...... Skeptical's ran fine at 1200 watts.... but mine were havin some problems (tensil leads burnt) with 900 watts each.

yes... i had it hooked up to a JBL 1200.1 @ 2 ohms and it was pumpin strong... make sure you set your gains correctly because i'm not sure if they'll take much more than 1100 rms.

well i kinda ran outta funds after buying the subs, cuz i ended up getting in a bad accident an totaling my car.... so i got an amp i could afford, lanzar Vibe268. it says 800x2@2, but its more like 600x2@2. i dunno thats just the way its sounds tho, ive also got them in a prefab sealed 1.2cf divided box... i choose the amp cuz i could get another one when i got another 100bucks an potentialy double my system.. i dont plan on going any higher than 1000rms per sub with this system. i dont realy plan on getting any loud eithor, alls i need is a good box an i think im all set on upgrading. ive got a kid so my system is last on the long list of shit i need to buy.

but anyways, so lets say i build a box with 6cf after the displacement of the subs. an ive got potientaly 800-1000rms in each sub. what dimention port do i need to get around 30hz?? an which way should i face the port?? again ive got the speaks facin the rear of my car... my trunk is shaped like a tank....
