im pretty much getting ready to buy a box made by a member here. we have talked allot and this is where we are at now. the box will be 3.1 cubes and tuned to 35hz. it will be goin in a dodge avenger. it will also be pwered off a hifonics bxi 2006. so my question is 3.1 cubes is big enough right??

No, it will sound like crap and the frequency range will be crap. Did you read the website at all? I've found that 4.5 ft3 gives the best mix of SPL and SQ. Tune 40hz as well.

i already have the 15. im just now gettin around to buyin a box. the max dimensions i can do is 13.5 high. 34 deep. and 22 wide. those dimensions are the max if it is a up firing box.

Fit a few bigger boxes then that and 34 Deeep is pushing it on the angle getting into the trunk Fyi.

get the box as big as you can i had one 4ft^3 boxed tuned to 38 and it sounded great.

now i have a 4.5ft^3 box(weird design) tuned to ~35hz and it may not be as loud on the higher hz but it definitely gets lots of vibrations and flex going.

im running the same amp to bxi2006d

47 in^2 iS a small port...

you should be looking at around 68 in^2

your not gonna get much out of the 15" with such little space unless you get the box right.
