box for a XXX18 V3

so my buddy is buildin a box for a XXX V3 18" ....

and somethin hit him in the head and now he thinks that it needs 188square inches of port for 7cubes @ 35Hz

i say 80-90square inch of port for 7cubes ...

somethin like this

what do u think ...any experience with these subs

I think 188 square inches of port is crazy. 100 would be more than enough.
