Box for a pair of 12" KickerCVR's

I need a box for a pair of Kicker CVR's. Will be using Hifonics Bxi606 and running 600RMS at 1-Ohm.

Question 1: Sealed or ported?

Question 2: What dimensions, and how hard is it to build on my own?

Since it seems like you lookin' for a budget amp:

1)Hifonics Brutus/Titan 600 - 1200

2) MA Audio hk401sx

3) Kicker kx1200

4) ... or look through the Classified section.

put them in 4 cubes around 34 hz and you will be happy. but you need more power get 800 watts to the pair.

they are the Dual 4-Ohm version, i called the shop today and he said to wire them with a 2 OHm load and to use a Kicker 500 rms amp, i don't think he knows what he's talkin about..if anyone know where i can get a good amp for these subs with fast shipping please let me know.

you have 2 dual fours so wire them down to 1 ohm and get an amp that puts out 800 watts RMS at 1 ohm.

my alternator os only like 60-65amps, will 800 rms be too much?

Do the " BIG 3 " install...

... If that doesn't satisfy ( Which it should )

Upgrade to a bigger battery under the hood ( If not already )

* If so, add a battery ( Dry Cell/Deep Cycle ) in the trunk.

ok one more question.

can i run these subs with a kicker 500.1 or 750.1, or any other amp that isn't 1-ohm stable but is 2-ohm stable..i think i can do it by running it in series or something? and if so what are the cons of doing this? will it sound good

The only kicker amps that are 1 ohm stable is the KX series...

... So to answer your question: NO

Find a 1ohm stable amp.
