I got two kicker L7's right now, i really don't want to have to take out the back seats, even though i know i will have to to get the 3.25 cu for the max spl configuration and all, but i am wondering if anyone could make a box that fits these dimensions 32x17x28 those are my max dimensions because i have those trunk arm things and i wish i knew how to get rid of them, dunno if there is anything after market that would give me more room but yea, if someone could whip me up a box design and stuff that would be awesome, its for L7's ported of course in a hz range of like 30-34 kinda shooting for a 32-33 range, slot or flared ports work, thanks in advance

But youll be lucky to fit 17" high in the trunk because of where the trunk rods go its only like 16" unless you fit the box in between those. Also your seats should fold down and those plastic panels pop off allowing you to fit in a box easier.
PS Ive never messed with a cavalier
yea, i already popped those plastic things out, and plan on cutting out some of the metal on it so i can a little more cu's

whats the specs of your box ? did u build it in the trunk ? or did it slide in there

Slid it in. Not sure the exact specs. I know it was 16" high because i was having problems hitting the trunk part. It was as wide as the opening from the back seats to the trunk and pretty **** deep. Sorry dont have the specs off hand.
Np, yea that was my max dimension at first for the height then i was like...well maybe i can fit a little more in it, So whatca think let the L7's breathe and build a wall or try to keep it clean and build in the trunk ?

Walls are fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Also one thing I did recently was take the trunk rods out(so the trunk doesnt stay open when up) and cut the rod holders out. Now allows for 18-19" tall I believe. May not be for you though lol.
Lol i was gonna do that, but im still looking around for other opinions before i go to the exetremes lol

i fit a 3.5cu' net box w/ 60sq" of port for a PBX 15 with out many problems...i can go bigger by making the box deeper....

as an alternative to the trunk arms, you can get a pair of gas charged shocks....i should do that....

Any idea where I would find some of those?
http://www.mcmaster-carr.com

type in "gas charged springs" for a search...you notice they have pages to flip through in teh upper right. use the little forluma thingy to figure out what size you'll need. then determine the type of fitting to go on each end for mounting it to the body and the trunk lid.

my wife's sebring came factory with them....

the max I could get with keeping my amp in the back and having 4 batteries in the wheelwell and all the bars and shit to keep the trunk open was like 17" 35" 25.5"

i have 2 15"l7's i cut the perches out and removed the rods, then i put two small linear actuators on the outside of the trunk hinges but you have to be pretty handy with a welder and you will have to make some brackets. i can get you some pics and will help anyway i can. pm me your e-mail.
