BOX for 2 X sundown audio zv4 15's

I got two sundown audio zv.4 15 inch subs I wanna build a box for in my SUV I have 39" wide 31" high and 28" deep for room to build the box. I want to tune it to 29hz but I can't seem to find the displacement of the subs and I have no clue on port size or how big it should be or nothing. I'm just a full on n00b trying to build his first box, clueless in the dark. Can anyone please help me out?

Well you have 17 gross cubes to work with so you have plenty of room lol. Preference in port? Aero? Slot? I believe those have .25 disp or close to it.

I would like to do a big open port if I could and tune to 29hz.. But all this port and box stuff just gets me super lost.

Well you'd be better off going with a slot to tune that low with 28" depth.

Well I have 5 4x8 sheets of 1" mdf ready to go. I just don't know how big the box should be or should I fire the subs back, up or at the seats and should the ports fire same as the subs? I am really out of my element here. friends on facebook one said 6-8 cubes other guy said 12-15 cubes one guy said the subs take up 2 cubes each. So I abounded that whole track and posted here for help as many of you guys know what you are talking about and my friends just don't.

If it was me. I would do sub up port back. 9cubes after displacement tuned to 28hz.. Cscstang will hook u up^

39x28x25 (double baffle) 8.10 net with 132.25 sqin and 16.2" port per cube. Tuned to 29hz. I have it all mocked up using 1" material. Sub up port back configuration. This is under the assumption you're giving them more than rated power? If not, then 9 net would be better.

Idk if you can just cut this in half n have it work or not but my buddy had 4 zv4 15s in 30cubes tuned to 25hz with 233" of port. He would do 155db on ab750.1

So idk if 15cubes tuned to 25hz with 115" of port would slam or not?

Yeah tuned that low it definitely needs to have more net but I'm not sure if he wants to tune that low? 7.5 per 15 is a whole lot lol.

I will be running under-rated on the power for a while anyway. I have two 3000 watt amps but one needs to be fixed. So for now at least Ill be running em on the one amp.

P.s Can you PM me with your prices on building/ shipping to 86302 also will or do you sale the mock up drawings?

After the subs, wood, Kolossus 4/0 gauge wire and the Iraggi Alternator I'm running out of money but it seems stupid to skimp out on the box at this point.

So I talked to a guy at sundown he said tune it to 32hz and has a Google SketchUp Box design for 2 15" zv4's but its H 23.5 x D 23.5 x W 41

However best I could do is 39.5 wide. Using a box calculator app It says

W 39.25 H 24 D 24

is the same but now I'm lost on the port measurements Would I keep the port the same size?

The subwoofer calculator app shows

39.25/24/24 same air space as manufacturer box?

So I was thinking if its the same air space then should be same size port??
