a single 3" port is only about 7.6 sq inch opening....seems small to me unless its a .5 cu ft box

Me thinks a single 4" will be fine for a low power setup. Maybe a pair of 3"ers.

Yeh. That wouldn't be ideal. I'd go 2 4in myself.

Not sure I have to see if that would be ok with him. A 4" will fit. I just have to see what subs he gets.
