box for 2 12"s in a crx

Does anyone have any good designs to get close to 6 cubes at 30-32 hz in a 1990 crx while staying below the window line? I might want to do a slot port so i can have a daily and comp setup. The most i could come up with in a normal rectangle box is like 3.7 . Any help is appreciated, thank you.

i want a box that big because its a daily driver, i figure 2.5 per sub should be big enough. like i said i want to do a slot ported box with a plug to tune around 32 hz and have it tuned around 55 without the plug in.

i have 2.5 in my crx and takes up my whole trunk. its under the window so i can put the OEM covers

6 cubes is really big for a CRX. unless you wall it or have it exposed for people to see

yea im trying to keep it so i can cover it up but i dont think thats goinh to happen. maybe i will just black out the back windows.

my setup peaked @ 61 - 63hz

i'd tune to 55 like you said, should blast your ears off

my box is tuned to 32 and to me 40-45 hz seems the loudest to me

there are panels on the floor that come in some or i would have made the box wider so save some trunk space

your ears and the meter are different. 60-62 hz for tuning and there is a newer box style than subs up, ports back.

depends on burp frequency any where from 62-67 on the dash and 65-70 in the kick panel thats bout what all the rexes ive worked in are........

also you can get a box 6 cubes in there no problem with panels in just build to the B pillar......the box doug was talkin bout is subs forward ports back but not so sure that would be good for daily driving..........

stick with the subs up ports back subs toward the front of the car and ports all the way at the bottom of the box make it as narrow as you can and get ports about 6 inches from back panel youll be good to go

Dont listen to slumpinhonda he is on team swat he is not loud.....lol but subs up port to the back works pretty good but anything is not to bad as long as the port is back. (in my car is what i base it on)

I was doing 57's in my crx with subs forward/port external backwards... got pretty loud
