OK, any advice you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated. I have two 10" Alpine Type-R (1042's) and currently have a sealed enclosure. Space is limited as I have a 2000 Mustang. Max dimensions to fit through the opening, with a little trimming of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif will be 14Hx34W. Depth can be close to 3 ft if need be. I'm looking for 50sq/50spl or perhaps 40sq/60spl(I want it to be facking loud). How much air space should I need and what to tune it to? I was thinking of tuning it to 34hz. Let me know how many cubes you guys think I should build it out to.

Thanks

Well, I followed the advice of everyone and boy was it worth it. 3 cu.ft. at 32hz in the back of my stang powered by a Hifonics Brutus 1606! Slams very nicely. It's nice to be in the driveway, windows up, and still rattle the garage! There is definately a night and day difference between the R's in ported enclosure vs. sealed.
