Box Efficiency

Im trying to get a better understanding of the difference in box sizes. my next subs are 2 splw15"s..for quite awhile ill only be able to give them 750 rms each. my question is...should i build my box big to increase the efficiency of the power i have or should i build it small to increase the spl? im not trying to enter competitions but i want somethin that will rock my car. basically it has to be very loud but i dont want it to be peaky or sound terrible doing it.

i have absolutely no idea...didnt think it was true tho. anyways what happens if you give the sub too much room? i mean is there a point where bigger starts to decrease output?

Smaller box for higher SPL might be referring to the fact that SPL boxes can be smaller if you want them to peak at higher frequencies...not ideal for a daily setup at all...
