Box coverings?

what should i cover my box in? everyone has carpet, but i might still do it

i was thinking paint, or some cool color or what mybe a stripe or so? ive seen tons of different designs , just throw out some and how to do it

it has to be on the cheap side not like 50$ on some sort of material or something, so everyone throw out some ideas

a friend of mine has a huge box with two RE 15's, he wants to show them off so to cover it he wants to do imitation sheep skin material, never seen that done, but it's original and probably would look pretty cool, maybe something along those lines would be an idea for you to consider

nice work anymore? to paint it do u have to put something on it first(like special paint or somethiing)? or just paint it, and how many coats will it need, i want it to be shiny like

I've been considering using thin sheets of brushed aluminum on my next box. Maybe cut a design out of the aluminum and have the box painted where the design would be so you don't see just plain MDF. I just think it might be kinda cool looking.

Painting is out of the question unless you have experience and massive amounts of patience. Keeping in mind every little spec will be noticable.

I am pondering what to do with my new box,painting means lots of prep(bondo,sanding etc)

How about a nice Pink Shag carpet LOL
