i kind of like the kitchen tile idea but how easily would the tiles crack at the seams if the box gets jostled too much?

take a look a countertop...i assume you just use some sort of adhesive and apply it in the right size to cover your box

i have never come across Formica how does in come in a vinyl or something? how much does it cost and where would you get it from

Formica is a brand name of plastic laminate. It comes in sheets like plywood, except it's only about 1/32" thick. I think any home depot has it. They come in a million colors and patterns. Need contact cement and the correct trimmer bit on a router to install. Not hard once you figure out how to keep bubbles out.

oh thats true... never thought about the cracking...just be sure the box is bolted down on the car tightly??? (wow ive gotta try the tile...)

the is a horrible idea. I have done tile on floors they are not fun to cut or work with. Plus u could only do one side at a time.

I got a sample today which I ordered off the web site. Doesn’t look easy to work with. And its no good if your box isn’t straight as it wont bend.
