Box construction Help!

I recently have asked whats the best way to make a sub sound quick/punchy. Most people suggested small sealed. My question is, should i make the box bigger and just cut down on size by adding foam things. I am asking because if I don't like the sound of the sealed and want it louder or what not, I am not going to feel like constructing another box. Let me know what ya think. What box do you have now considering you dont want to construct another..

I don't have a box now. I am in the process of building my first and they said that for quick/punchy bass, to go with small sealed. but if i don't like the sound of that AFTER its built, i'd have to build another box. If i build a bigger box and just cut down on the size by putting stuff inside the box, then if it sounds bad i can just port it and take the stuff back out to increase its size again. WOuld this work?

I take it you are talking about polyfill....Polyfill is usually used to make a SMALLER sealed box sound like a LARGER one....

What sub(s) are you gonna run?
