box built but smells bad?

when i got my custom-built box from MoeLester and put it in my car, my car would wreak of wood. wasnt bad at all.. just smelt like wood to me.. i live with it. i actually kinda like it versus a 1994 car smell.

my box smelled like wood for weeks, especially after being in the sun for a while. its from all the sawdust left inside the box, but its not that big of a deal to me. ive had my car wreak of mdf, asphalt (deadening), fiberglass, and paint all for weeks and mdf was the least horrible smell. **** it up fool! or put a fruity air freshener in there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Put an air freshner inside the port. Everytime you bump it a little bit you will get some good smelling air moving around.

That is what I was getting at when I said to put a piece of red cedar wood in there.

Ah, didn't see your post. Yeah actually works pretty good. I have 2 vanilla air freshners stapled into my box. May have to try that cedar in there next...

eh, i'd be more afraid about my lungs from the sawdust than the wood.....the sawdust is all just gonna blow out the port or burn off inside anyway
