box building help

i know this isnt the right place to post this but no one really checks the box construction page much.

and i was wondering if 1/2 inch mdf board is good enough for 2 10edK's

i know they say use 3/4" but my dad went to lowes and ordered 1/2 inch and he said that didnt have any other...so i was wondering if 1/2 inch will work.

ummm.. make the front baffle double thick, brace it everywhere possible. If braced correctly and maybe over-done a little i think youll be ok.. just make sure u tak in account all the braces in the total volume..

no i dont think, but if u dont brace correctly it will flex and that may make it a little worse..

but it isnt a huge box it is goin in a standard cab ranger

Would be MORE than enough...;

im gettin a carpenter to build it for me he is a good friend of mine and he is goin to build it for free well hopefully lol

so i would say he is pretty good at measuring and stuff

he also built a box for my brother once too

so i will tell him that
