Well Guys i have built my own boxes for a while and have won too many competitions and built boxes for local guys too.... ok i have pics , but there not really boxes ive built for other people.... in the world of spl you change stuff so often it gets ugly quick, but ill post some up...

btw the 2 15 box was my first box i ever built.... thats why some of the cuts are a lil off... the 2 12 box was my 2nd and now let me find a few more

First box... Typical design apears to be built as average experienced box builder.

2nd box.... Sloppy... Little room for bracing, top baffle seems quite flimsy with teh weight of three fifteens.. Hole cut outs sloppy....

what were teh numbers with the 3rd set up you had?

you appear to have good construction technique... Not sure what the plan was for the 2nd box for 3 fifteens, but I think you really could have done better then that... I probably wouldnt have posted that one my self.

The 3 15s was for a bandpass in a bonneville... that played 90 hz... it was just to test some things with a bandpass with smaller chambers it didnt work so we scraped it

Thanks for the good luck.... i dont really put alot of time into my boxes... i wish i had some pics of the boxes i built for the guys around town.... im gonna buidl the girlfriend somehting and build some stuff for my new crx

cool... I know what you mean about throwing a box together.. most of us do it that way from time to time as it becomes second nature. CRX boxes are fun..

I say if you're serious you should build a demo box to show people what you are capable of. I know what you're capable of but nobody here will believe it until they see it

Chad makes good stuff, and he's a good guy. Id trust him better than some of the so professed box builders on this site. He's a very active MECA member, and his stats in the previous seasons speak for themeslves. I hope he can help out some folks here..

When I was in the Marines I can remember building 1 or 2 per week.. But I don't do any competition stuff. Have never had the oportunity... Supose I will in Holly Wood/ Beverly Hills. I'll have to take advantage of the shop space when I am between projects. I'm going to build one for her Mini Cooper... I have never owned my own personal Re XXX.. I have installed some RE products... But I am really looking forward to my very own... The cooper will be sick... I am pre-thinking Carbon Fiber... I laugh because I remember my first CF project.. I actually posted it here a way while back... I don't think tehre was too much advertising... Alot of people get away with it anyway...
