Box Build Questions? Materials, Port and Sub Direction

Ok so I'm getting ready to build my next box. I'm thinking about making my box out of carbon fiber with a thickness of 1/10th of an inch would this be acceptable thickness? Someone told me that it would create bad resonance.

For my next question this picture is my current set-up

So when I build my new box I was thinking about facing the sub forward facing, toward the front window. Will this sound good? Also, the box I'm building is .2 ft^3 ported with a Fb=35 which way should the port face with that box?

No seriously... .2 cu ft for a sound splitter RL-i8... Also, yes carbon fiber because it's stronger than fiberglass... Unless it's really that bad sounding... I build my box for space saving reasons... not pure SPL or SQ

i think it would flex to much, you could do 5-6 layers of glass and then cover it with carbon fiber.

When people normally make boxes out of glass how many layers do they typically use?

i do 4 layers on first layup, then another 3-4 on second, it ends up being about 1/4 thick.
