It is painted. You ever tried painting the end grain of Trupan? It soaks right in, and there is nothing you can do. Ive tried just about everything.

What makes it even funnier is, the port IS painted already. In one of the first pics, the edge of the front is not painted yet. But the port hasnt been rounded over yet either. Didnt know some people lacked the knowledge to maybe realize I dont take a pic after every minor little thing I do on a box. Next build Ill take a pic after every screw I put in, every panel I cut, or anything I route. Another thing is that for some reason, the camera makes painted end grain look like crap, no matter how good it looks in person.
