Well, it works. The End

LOL man this thing is nothing short of AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never expected it to have this much performance, holy friggen crap!

This box is so well balanced with the type of bass its producing, the extremely low tones hit just as well as the higher tones. It doesnt matter if the doors are open, windows down or whatever... it shakes the *(&$# out of everything.

In the past the boxes I had were finicky, you had to have the window down just right and on the right tune to get the most out of the setup, this setup doesnt give a crap lol. It's by far the best setup I've ever owned.

I'm VERY concerned about the side windows though. They're going to break unless I do something, but what im not sure.

Tomorrow I need to go pick up another battery and after that I'll do another test run with video.

BIG Thanks to PowerNaudio and BJ Fisher for the design and box build.

Oh and... yes it does the "hair trick" just fine LOL

The video sucks, not sure what youtube did but its terrible. I'll get it hosted somewhere else tonight and repost the link.

man the system sound sick as hell, by the video it sounds like it pounds pretty hard, now you have to deaden the hell out of that van, just to keep it in one piece, haha.

the hard work and effort i put on the design, seems to have paid off big time.

looking forward to some spl level numbers when you get them. even though it wasnt design to hit some high levels of spl, with that many subs and that much power, its just inavoidable to get a very decent level of spl. lol

again looks great.

Don't let it rush to your head too quickly; ya might get a brainfreeze.

just stating that it took allot of work to get it to the point it is now. it wasn't a 1hour design. piston had to wait almost a week to get the design from me, because i wanted it to be just right. thats why i state it. "the hard work and effort i put on the design, seems to have paid off big time." . if taking pride in my design work and taking it seriously to get them almost perfect, gets me a brain freeze, im not scare of it. haha i didn't meant for it seem like i let it get to my head, like if im was the greatest enclosure designer alive. but if thats how it made you feel. lol. thats your problem.

now back to our regularly unscheduled program.

piston did you get a chance to meter the system?

Not yet, my wire that I ordered didnt come in so I need to wait till thats done before really opening this thing up. Hopefully tomorrow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Today I bumped it up a few on the volume and found more area's that need dynamat... namely the entire van //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I tell ya, the oddest sensation so far in this thing, when its hitting extremely hard it feels like the AC is on. If I start with a 80 degree temp, it starts to feel like its 60 in there... had a couple of ppl experience this. Odd //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yah i feel you. i bet you got them ports blow right at you. its got to be windy. lol

the video you posted tells us the story, on how much dynamat you need lol.

Ty Ty

I'm purely guessing here but I think with the box and all subs its somewhere around 320lbs

I've ordered new springs for the rear, you can definatly tell there's more weight back there... it wasn't exactly setting great 1/4 mile times at the track before LOL

I hope to have it on the TL tomorrow with music. There's a usaci comp this weekend and I may just go see whats what.
