Finally got this one finished amongst 5 other ones. Got stopped by the humidity a few weeks back, so I had to hold off on the paint.

4 cubes @ 38Hz with 64^2 of port.

2 12" HDC's with copper coils

2 Sundown 1500D's strapped at 2ohms

Box has a double baffle and window brace between the subs. Made to fit between the goofy fenderwell lips in the trunk, so 31" was the max width I could go.

He's got a bunch of ECKO stuff custom made for his interior, so I went with that theme for the box.

Port is a silver metallic base coat with candy apple red and clear. Looks F'ing AMAZING in the sunlight, like it's a 1/4" deep and VERY bright. Too bad it'll be in a dark trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

ECKO vinyl is layed over a piece of stained pine and covered in 1/8" of pour on poly. Pretty happy with how this one turned out. Installing it tomorrow morning, so we'll see if those baby HDC's can beat up his Charger more then the DD he had.

nice box, paint looks good.
what steps did you take when painting it?
sand, primer, sand, primer, 400grit sand, 2 base coats of silver metallic, 4 coats or candy apple red, 800grit sand, 2 coats of clear, wax...... about 12 hours for a F'ing port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Actually it could be as I was drinking and installing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif but it looked straight through my beer goggles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Very nice work mike, alright that means mine is next :) . I wish I had more money left to get mine painted or carpeted :-(
Starting on yours tomorrow afternoon and looking forward to a bare MDF box actually, so no paint or carpet for you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
