Ok guys I will be starting a box tomorrow for HookedOnHifonic, single 15" Kicker L7. The box is 3.15 cubic feet after all displacements. Box has 43 square inches of port tuned to 35Hz. Double baffle front and sub flushed in box.

Seems a little small for an l7 15.

Yes, it is not as big as I want it, but as big as my trunk will allow. I would say 3 cubes would be the lowest i would go for an L7, and if you dont think this will upgrade my system, just know that I currently have my L7 in a box with 1.2 cubes in volume. I am going to triple the amount of airflow for the speaker, and i'm thinkin its gonna bump...hard:D

i had a 6 cu ft box and a 3 cu ft box for my l7, both powered with a zx750.1 the 6 cu ft box clearly is more efficient on low power.

so if i were you get it powered with 1000+ watts

I have a BXi1208D pushing my L7 at 900W RMS at 2-ohm, I know i am under powering the woofer a bit, but i paid good money for it, and don't really wanna push it to the limits and blow the thing, i ain't got much money, i savor what i have lol
